We bring Musical Theatre from Broadway and the West End to the Fair City of Perth!
Established in 1947, Perth Amateur Operatic Society has been a vibrant and integral part of the local arts community in the Fair City for over seven decades. From classic masterpieces to contemporary productions, we take pride in fostering a warm and inclusive environment, welcoming aspiring performers, technicians, and theatre enthusiasts from all walks of life.
We can't believe we've said the 'C' word already either! But with a jam packed Christmas programme coming up - we thought it best to start letting you know what's coming! Our annual Christmas Concert will be held on the 5th December, in the Joan Knight Studio in Perth Theatre. A concert filled with traditional Christmas Carols and songs you love from Christmas films - there really will be something for everyone! So if panto isn't your thing but you're looking for a Christmas night out - keep an eye out on here and on our socials for tickets - they'll be on sale soon!
If you're struggling for time but would still like to hear us sing, we will also be busking in the town centre to spread some Christmas cheer to shoppers passing by on Saturday 12th December - so pop along and see us and drop a wee penny in the fundraising bucket! Venue to be confirmed but keep an eye out and we will keep you updated.
